About Autobidz
Overview
Autobidz is a car-selling marketplace where verified local dealers compete to buy a seller’s vehicle, so owners get the best price without haggling. Its promise: “When dealers compete, you win.” We built the product end to end: logo, design system, website and app design in Figma and Framer build, then full app development.
The Challenge
Selling a car privately is slow and stressful, and trading in at a dealership usually means leaving money on the table. Autobidz had to earn trust on both sides of a two-sided marketplace:
Sellers needed to understand the model in seconds, believe it was free, and finish a listing without friction.
Dealers needed a credible, serious bidding environment.
The brand had to feel trustworthy and modern, not like a classifieds site, and website and app had to feel like one product.
Brand and Design
We started with the identity: a new logo and a design system covering color, typography, components and states, so every surface speaks the same language. From that base we designed the marketing website and the app in Figma, then built on Framer. The site explains the model in three steps (create a profile, photograph the car, accept a bid and get paid), with a clear “Start Selling, It’s FREE” CTA, FAQ and a value estimator. In the app, guided photo capture helps sellers build stronger listings, and live bidding keeps the process transparent.
App Development
There was no handoff gap: the same team that designed the system built the app. We developed it in full, covering seller onboarding and identity verification, vehicle listings, dealer bidding, and the flow from accepted bid to completed sale. What shipped matches what was designed.
Outcome
Autobidz launched with a cohesive brand, website and app built on one design system and one team, from first sketch to production code.
