I originally built Prelude Loader for my own portfolio to create a smoother first impression. It proved useful enough that I decided to share it with the Framer community. I hope you find it useful too.

Update: Prelude now gives you control over when the loader appears: once per browser session or on every page. With Show Once on, the loader no longer reappears when visitors navigate between pages. Canvas Preview now only applies on the Framer canvas, so you can style the loader while you design without affecting your live site.
