The company runs a portfolio of streetwear, coffee and fitness brands, so the section has to carry a lot of different worlds at once. The original puts the headline on top of a photo, then lays eight images out in an even grid. I wanted to test the opposite of both. Three decisions I'm trying: 1. Type gets its own cell. The yellow blocks aren't captions or overlays. They sit in the grid as tiles, the same weight as a photo. Nothing is layered over anything, so nothing competes for the same spot. 2. Empty cells stay empty. The instinct is to fill the grid. Leaving holes is what makes it read as a collage instead of a gallery. 3. Mobile isn't the desktop grid squeezed. It repacks tighter, taller, and the yellow block changes proportion instead of just scaling down. What I'd like eyes on is the desktop version. There's a line between airy and unfinished and I'm not sure which side of it I'm on. Would you tighten those gaps or push them further apart?53:T7f7,

Framer gives you the freedom to design almost anything.

But when it comes to e-commerce, that freedom stops.

You build a beautiful e-commerce experience in Framer.

Then you discover you need another platform to actually run the store.

Suddenly, you're paying for:

→ Framer e-commerce plugin

→ Platform like Shopify, Etc

Two platforms.

Multiple subscriptions.

More complexity.

And more things sitting between you and your customers.

I don't think it should be this complicated.

So I've been building something different.

Meet GetFramerce.

An e-commerce system built directly for Framer.

The idea is simple:

Let Framer handle the experience.

Let GetFramerce handle the commerce.

With GetFramerce, you can:

→ Add and manage products through Framer CMS

→ Build your storefront directly on the Framer canvas

→ Add products to cart

→ Manage the entire shopping experience

→ Let customers check out

→ Keep complete control over your design

No Shopify.

No second commerce platform.

No stitching multiple tools together just to sell something.

And unlike the usual setup, you don't need to pay for a separate e-commerce platform just to get started.

GetFramerce will be free at launch.

I'm launching it on September 1st. 🚀

If you're a Framer designer, developer, or store owner who wants to build real e-commerce experiences without leaving Framer...

I built GetFramerce for you.

More soon. 👀

I love the design control Framer offers,

But I’m researching the reality of the backend handoff for headless e-commerce. For those building custom stores right now, what is your absolute biggest technical bottleneck?

Are you struggling more with CMS variant syncing, building custom multi-attribute filtering, handling localized checkouts, or something else entirely?

Let me know the problem in the comments—I'd love to hear about the painful workarounds you currently have to use.

Your Framer images shouldn't be static.

They should react.

This pixel-canvas component turns any image into a live, cursor-driven matrix.
