Procrastination... How do you deal with it?

I’ve realized that I no longer want to use AI as a source of creative inspiration.

While AI is incredibly useful for execution, research, and speeding up workflows, relying on it for ideas can unintentionally narrow your creative perspective. Since it generates from existing patterns, it often reinforces what already exists instead of encouraging genuinely original thinking.

The best inspiration comes from people and the world around us—not just other digital products. Architecture, photography, books, fashion, music, nature, industrial design, conversations, museums, street signs, packaging, and everyday experiences all offer ideas that AI simply can't replicate through lived experience.

As designers, our job isn't just to remix what's already been made. It's to observe, connect unrelated ideas, and create something that feels new.

I'll keep using AI as a tool—not as my creative compass.

AI will never replace creative ideas.

Tools will evolve. Agents will become faster, smarter, and more capable — but the ability to see something that doesn’t exist yet, connect unexpected ideas, and create with purpose will always belong to humans.

Good luck to everyone who believes AI agents can fully replace creativity.

They can generate outputs.

But vision, taste, and original thinking are still the real advantage.

When I was a Figma designer, I was limited in my creative thinking, because I did not know if its possible to implement. And now with Framer I can do what I want to.
