Afromakedoniki is a family-run foam cutting and trading business in Evosmos, Thessaloniki, operating since 1982. It serves both individuals and trade professionals, supplying precision-cut foam for seating and furniture, sleep and mattresses, and industrial uses. Orders are placed and collected on-site only, with no delivery.

The Challenge

The owner's main frustration was simple: too many phone calls. The old Wix site had no FAQ, no explanation of foam types or applications, no mention of the no-delivery policy and no guidance on what to bring. Customers arrived without dimensions or samples, leading to incomplete orders and wasted trips. The layout felt dated, content lacked hierarchy, there were no clear calls to action for homeowners or trade clients, and there was no SEO foundation.

The Solution

The project ran in two phases, design in Figma and development in Framer, guided by one principle: clarity.

Information architecture: The site was restructured into Products (by use case), Services, FAQ and Visit Us. A dedicated FAQ covers foam types, pricing, turnaround, what to bring and the no-delivery policy, while a prominent "Before You Visit" section tells customers to bring a sample and their dimensions.
Design: A light, minimal aesthetic with a neutral palette, generous whitespace and clean typography conveys precision without industrial heaviness. Before/after photos of real jobs show the quality of the work, and subtle Framer animations add polish.
Technical & SEO: Built fully in Framer for a fast, responsive site, with semantic headings, meta titles and descriptions, alt text, clean URLs and local signals (Evosmos, Thessaloniki).

Overview

Pre-launch email capture landing page for Boardhaus, a surf, skate, and snowboard adult progression platform. Built in Framer to spec, with two conversion paths - a free waitlist and a $97 founding member purchase - plus full GA4 event tracking, Kit email integration, and a client-ready analytics dashboard.

Goals

Translate a detailed four-version spec into a live Framer build that captured early interest before the product launched.

Incorporate two conversion paths for two types of visitors: people willing to join a free waitlist, and people ready to commit as founding members.

Track both paths end to end in GA4

Challenges

The email form was the most technically involved piece. The spec called for custom inline validation with a brand-styled error state, but the browser's native HTML5 validation was intercepting interactions before the custom logic could run. Switching to noValidate on the form and type="text" on the input, combined with custom regex validation, resolved it cleanly.

Performance on Framer's staging URL initially read as 61 on Lighthouse mobile, which looked like a problem. It turned out to be Framer's editor scripts inflating the score. Tested correctly from a clean browser session, mobile came in at 81 and desktop at 96, within the expected ceiling for Framer's runtime.

GA4 setup required five custom events, three custom dimensions, and a scroll depth script, all verified through DebugView before handoff. The founding member purchase tracking ran through a thank-you page redirect since Gumroad is an external domain.

Manolis is a French-Greek production sound mixer and location sound recordist based in Athens with over 15 years of experience on international productions. He needed a portfolio site built around a specific goal: ranking when foreign producers and directors search for a local sound person in Greece.

He came with a template already chosen (Eizo on Framer) and a document with 35+ fully written project pages.

Goals

Attract international productions shooting in Greece. The primary audience is foreign producers, directors and production coordinators who need a reliable local sound contact.

Rank for the right searches. Terms like "production sound mixer Greece", "location sound recordist Athens" and variations of both are what someone types when they're looking for exactly what Manolis offers. SEO was built into the structure of the site from the start, not added at the end.

Handle a diverse portfolio cleanly. 40+ projects across 8-9 distinct categories meant the CMS needed to be flexible enough to display different credit structures per project without creating a maintenance nightmare.

Get the technical setup right. Clean domain connection, no leftover template content showing in search results, project pages actually indexed by Google.

Outcome

The site launched with a clean CMS handling 35+ projects across multiple categories from a single collection, conditional credit fields that adapt to each project type without any visible empty space, and a fallback system for videos that can't be embedded.

On the SEO side: title tags and meta descriptions are within spec across all pages, project pages are indexed, template content has been fully replaced, and the site name is correct throughout. The FAQ section and location-specific copy across the homepage and info page give the site a solid baseline for the searches that matter to the client.

The contact page includes a WhatsApp link with a pre-filled message for time-sensitive production enquiries.

Sanctum has a Sold Out field on the Retreats collection. It is a simple boolean toggle, so when it's on, a banner appears on the retreat card automatically, and the booking button becomes inactive. When it's off, the banner disappears and the booking button becomes automatically active.

The person running the site flips a switch and the page updates. This addition replaces an edit that would otherwise mean touching a component.

I wanted buyers of Sanctum to feel like they'd been handed a proper handoff. So I built a Style Guide page directly inside the project. It's set to hidden, so it never appears on the published site.

The key thing is it's not a PDF or an external doc. It's live inside Framer, sitting next to your actual pages.

It added maybe two hours to the build. I think it's one of the things that justifies charging for a template rather than releasing it free.
