guys and gals 😭😂 *looking for help* I'm not an animator, but I have an idea and maybe you have suggestions on how to execute it and using which tools. (This is what claude made lol) I wanted a looping cat animation (maybe walk -> sit or walk -> roll yarn) and the card to gently react to the motion. I can illustrate, but animating will kill me; so - where do we make such thing to add to our templates? Or maybe if you'd want to help me with this, I could implement your design/animation and credit you in the case study and other support materials.

At Jelly, inspiration strikes anywhere and we take anything we can from any environment or location or activity or even doctors appointments. We just saw the Joji concert here in Amsterdam and his Solaris show graphics were super cool, refreshing and very Joji - just whatever he'd want - he'd do. That's how I approach my own creativity - I want, I make. So here's a mini compilation of his colors and backgrounds! And how I felt about it all is represented in the other accents. Very slay and fire!

🥲 A lot of firsts here: this is my first ever framer plugin and my first ever contra feature of it!

I started on @Contra recently and have been trying to make sure I post, even if no one sees it. Woke up to an email, that my post/project has been featured. "My Project Cleaner" is free to use. Try it out!

I swear, artists just want recognition, any money is just a bonus.

If YOU don’t 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 your own post, why would anyone else? Best advice I've ever taken, I love my stuff guys I could like it all day, I mean - once I found MYself, I love my creations 🙂 You know how artists usually think their art sucks? That's no longer me, I don't know her 💁🏻‍♀️✨

When I travel on short trips I still bring my laptop in case of crucial work, but as I open it, I have absolutely no idea what is what, where is up and where is down. My brain is not in my work corner, I’m hunting and gathering. I’m herding. What is work? I guess I really need my routines and a nomad life might not be my path. I need my cornerrrr ✨🙌🏻 one more week until brain gets back online. 🤠

We recently lost out on a project. Let me know your thoughts; read on ✨ The client wanted to repair and extend their existing setup rather than move to something more modern. At first, losing the project stung. But after thinking about it, I realized I'm actually okay with the outcome. 🤔

Even if they had asked us to lower our price and work on their existing system, I'm not sure I would have said yes. Their website was essentially a simple landing page, but it was built on an older WordPress setup that was already showing its age (read: it's offline for who knows how long). Emails weren't working properly, maintenance was becoming part of the project, and the focus was on fixing old problems instead of building something that would move the business forward.

I don't want to build a business that's known for maintaining outdated systems just because it's the safer option. Technology moves quickly, and I've experienced firsthand what it's feels like to suddenly realize you've fallen years behind because you've stayed comfortable with what you already know. Catching up is much harder than evolving gradually, isn't it?

That's why I want to keep working with newer tools and approaches. The oldies but goodies are often the foundation that newer ones are built on, I get it. Of course, every client has financial constraints, and not every business is ready to invest in rebuilding!

But as a designer and business owner, I'd rather spend my time helping companies that are willing to invest in the future than convincing them to preserve the past. At least not in the digital-internet-web-world.

The right project is the one that keeps you growing so you're not waking up five years from now wondering when the industry passed you by (that sux).

Do you ever turn down work because it doesn't align with the direction you want your business or skills to grow, even if it means losing revenue? Thoughts?

I love hiding things around, some easter eggs, some inside jokes - there's a couple more to see; motivational inspo is strongly suggested if you're feeling a bit lost! jellyjellyjelly.com

So, did you already read the diaries? Here's some hard hitting truth: it's all in the vibes, guys the vibes 💁🏻‍♀️ jelly studio has tangible people, you can ask about the accolades later, but nowadays rarely anyone cares anymore how many degrees we have

What are your recommendations for heatmaps when it comes to a Framer site that is not e-commerce? I'm looking for a free one or ones with at least some insight before it's paid for deeper analytics. 🔥 I've used Lucky Orange, but I want to know what else people find good!

Welcome to the most walkable city (ironic ‘cause I use a wheelchair) where you can probably power through in one or two days, that is IF you’re not run over by a bicycle or IF you don’t fall into a canal. Oh, Amsterdam

I used to do publication design/magazine design and I think it lead me to loving web design, as both require organisation of pictures and text in a specific format. Those skills have led me here, so it's probably why my web design tends to focus on compact, browsable layouts and less visual tricks. But I love visual tricks.. so, it's fun to combine both somewhere in the middle 🙂

After a week of iterations and four rounds of checks, my very first Framer plugin is live! If you want to quickly rid of hidden, off-canvas or other junky layers - this tool if for you 🤩 Free!

Personally, I always end up with a bit of a mess towards the end of a project, so I wanted a quick overview of how "bad" it is, hence, I added a tidiness meter 😃 Sometimes just a few rogue layers. Sometimes.. on that another time. Cheers!

My very first round of nostalgic, anti-design drawings for the new site. A couple made the cut, mostly just the wiggles an zigzags, oh, and the cat! iPad + Pencil + Procreate ✨🤠
