Halide

Halide is a free portfolio template for photographers. It keeps out of the way: warm paper tones, an elegant serif and room for big images, so the photographs do the talking.

Pages

• Home: intro, a full-width hero photograph, a grid of series from the CMS, about with recognition, and a contact block

• Series: a page for every series with place, year, a short summary, a cover, a written story and a gallery

• 404

Built in

• Series CMS with 6 example projects, each with a cover and three gallery images

• Desktop, tablet and phone layouts on every page

• Slow, subtle appear animations and hover zoom on covers

• Colour and text styles, so a rebrand takes minutes

• SEO titles and descriptions, including per-series pages

Fonts: Instrument Serif and Inter. Photos from Unsplash. The photographer and publications are fictional.
