About desktop 2005

desktop 2005 is a desktop style portfolio template for framer that works like a computer from 2005. visitors open folders, drag windows, flip through your projects in a photo viewer and poke around the dock, so your portfolio feels like a place instead of a page.

made for designers, photographers, illustrators and studios who want an interactive portfolio template that people remember. the look sits between y2k and the early web: glossy buttons, brushed metal windows and a blue wallpaper with soft light streaks.

everything is edited in framer's right panel, no code: name, about, cv, up to 60 projects with 3 photos each, shop items, journal posts, links and the date you're free for new work.

what's inside:

  • desktop with draggable icons, menus and a working dock

  • work library with folders for design, photo and side projects

  • photo viewer with zoom, drawer and slideshow

  • read me, cv, notes and a say hello mail window
