Almanac

About Almanac

Almanac is a blog template for independent publications: essays, notes, podcasts, films and a Sunday newsletter, all filed by subject so readers can find everything again.

Every subject has a colour and a drawing

Each subject gets its own colour and hand-drawn plate. The colour follows readers into the article: the band under the nav, the reading progress bar and the drop cap all change with it. 35 original illustrations are included, and photos work in every image field too.

Articles that read like a magazine

A contents sidebar tracks your place as you read. Articles support pull quotes, editor's asides, tables, lists, figures with captions and inline links. The demo ships with 12 full-length pieces, so you can see real layouts, not placeholder text.
