About Kalenda

A scrapbook calendar that always knows what day it is.

Kalenda pulls the real date and lays itself out from scratch: the right weekday under every column, the right number of days for the month, and a "September, 2026" header that never needs updating by hand. Point it at any month manually if you'd rather preview something else.

Pin a polaroid photo, a handwritten-style label, or both to any date. There's also a dedicated Today Photo slot: set it once and it follows whichever day is actually today, so you're not moving it around every morning.

What you get

  • Auto month and year, or set one manually

  • Photo and/or text on any date, plus a Today Photo that follows the real date

  • Font controls for the month/year header and the brand line

  • Board color, backdrop photo, ribbon, and tape all editable, ribbon can be hidden entirely

  • Fully responsive, built to hold up from a wide desktop hero down to a phone frame

  • A soft hover lift on photos and a gentle pulse on today's cell, both off in Framer's canvas and respectful of reduced-motion settings, with a single toggle to turn animation off entirely

Good for Villa and staycation booking pages (Airbnb-style listings, short-let real estate sites), portfolio "behind the scenes" pages, travel reveals, or launch countdowns anywhere a calendar should look pinned to a corkboard next to a "Book your stay" button instead of pulled from a plugin.

One line I'd also add right after the feature list, since it's specific to that use case:

Works alongside your booking flow Drop it next to a "Book your stay" or "Check availability" button as a visual teaser of what a guest's week actually looks like, rather than a plain date picker.

Built for speed Images are lazy-loaded and pull from Framer's responsive image sizes, each date cell only re-renders when its own data changes, and every animation runs on transform and opacity, so it stays light even with a full month of photos.
