๐ธ ๐ง UX Audit: Fixing the Broken Retention Loop in the @Framer Marketplace ๐ ๐ค
I want to share a final UX analysis regarding a heavily discussed community request: the missing repository for liked assets.
When we like community posts, plugins, or marketplace templates, they currently disappear with no way to recall them. Here is why launching a native 'Saved' workspace hub is a win-win for both users and the Framer ecosystem:
1. Fixing the Habit Loop ๐ค
Likes in a creative ecosystem represent active curation. Providing a native vault keeps users engaged inside the platform instead of forcing them to use external bookmarking tools.
2. Seamless Integration ๐โ๐จ๏ธ
The proposed 'Saved' tab fits natively inside the 'Discover' sidebar, right under 'Activity'. It features a clean filter system (All, Posts, Templates, Components, Vectors, Plugins) matching Framer's signature dark UI framework perfectly.
3. Ecosystem Value ๐จ
Transforming the marketplace into a personal asset library directly increases user retention, encourages repeat visits, and boosts transaction velocity for our template creators.
The community and Reddit feedback shows this is a deeply shared pain point.
The UX logic is mapped out, the UI layout is ready.
What do you think of this approach?
Let's make it happen! ๐ฎ
