Diagonal Carousel is a structured corner-based animation component built for Framer creators who want intentional motion instead of scattered loops.

Media items move diagonally from a selected start corner to the center, hold briefly, then transition smoothly to a configurable end corner. Each element follows a controlled sequence, creating a conveyor-style experience that feels deliberate and refined.

This is not a CSS stagger hack.It is a timeline-driven animation system.

Why Sequential Diagonal Motion Feels Better

Most carousel animations rely on infinite keyframes or time-offset loops. That often creates:

Random overlaps
Abrupt resets
Visual clutter
Performance instability
Unpredictable stacking

Diagonal Carousel uses a single global animation clock and structured phase windows:

Start → Center
Center Hold
Center → End

Only items within valid phases render. No scattered motion. No mass resets. No layout side effects.

The result is clean, stable diagonal movement that feels engineered, not decorative.

Fully Configurable Start and End Corners

This component is not locked to one direction.

You can independently select:

Top Left
Top Right
Bottom Left
Bottom Right

For both the starting corner and the ending corner.

That means you can create:

Classic top-right to bottom-left diagonal
Bottom-left to top-right motion
Top-left to bottom-right flow
Any corner-to-corner combination

The animation engine adapts automatically while preserving sequential timing and center emphasis.

This makes the component flexible for different layouts, compositions, and storytelling directions.

Key Features

Sequential diagonal motion system
Center hold phase for emphasis
Resting state at start and end corners
Configurable start and end corner controls
Smooth ease-in-out interpolation
Adjustable movement duration
Adjustable center hold duration
Adjustable background color
Configurable corner scale and center scale
Stable DOM footprint
Infinite conveyor-style loop without resets

At any moment, only 2–3 items are visible. This preserves clarity and avoids clutter.

Built for Real Framer Sites

Diagonal Carousel is designed for production environments, not demo-only layouts.

You can confidently use it in:

Portfolio hero sections
Agency landing pages
SaaS product showcases
Editorial storytelling blocks
Brand-driven visual layouts
Motion-focused homepage sections

It behaves predictably inside responsive Framer layouts.

Customization

All parameters are controlled from Framer’s property panel:

Move duration
Center hold duration
Center scale• Corner scale
Media size
Border radius
Start corner selection
End corner selection

The animation logic remains internally structured to maintain stable sequencing and performance.

You get flexibility without breaking the motion system.

Summary

Diagonal Carousel focuses on structure, control, and motion clarity.

It replaces fragile staggered loops with a deterministic corner-based animation system, resulting in diagonal movement that feels stable, intentional, and production-ready.

If you want a diagonal carousel that behaves like a real system — not a visual trick — this component is built for that.
