Cursor Crowd s a responsive Framer component that shows the live cursors of everyone else viewing the same page, with optional visitor labels, a branded default pointer or your own uploaded cursor, per-visitor colors, and a relay you deploy to your own free Cloudflare account in minutes.

Use Cases

This component works especially well for:

Portfolio and personal sites
Agency and studio homepages
Launch and waitlist pages
Event pages
Link-in-bio pages
Community landings

Perfect when you want a page to feel visited instead of empty.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Customization

Fully customizable via the properties panel:

Enabled
Demo mode
Demo cursors
Demo speed
Endpoint URL
Site key
Cursor source
Custom cursor upload (SVG, PNG, WebP)
Size
Own cursor
Own color
Outline color
Outline width
Shadow
Hotspot X and Y
Tint remotes
Keep UI cursors
Palette (10 visitor colors)
Send interval
Show labels
Label text
Smoothing
Z-index
Debug status.

You design the page. The component only adds the other visitors' cursors.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Responsive Behavior

Desktop: full experience for mouse and trackpad visitors
Touch devices stay silent: no connection, no cursors, no effect on the page
Reduced motion: cursors place instantly instead of gliding

The overlay never blocks clicks, selection, or scrolling, and is hidden from screen readers. Place one invisible instance per page.

Preview / Tutorial / Functionality

Tutorial: https://cursor-crowd.framer.website/tutorial

What's included:

The CursorCrowd component
The open-source relay, one-click Cloudflare deploy
Setup tutorial on the preview site
Support: message me on X or by email

Good to know:

Live cursors need the relay deployed first (free); Demo mode works without it
Rooms hold 10 visitors by default; extras just browse without cursors
