Boat Battle: Event Website Built in One Week
About the Project
Boat Battle is a spinning fishing competition featuring well-known fishing influencers, organized by sklepwedkarski.pl, one of Poland's leading online fishing stores. The client needed a dedicated event website, and they needed it fast.
The Challenge
The timeline was extremely tight. A standard workflow (design, handoff, development, QA) simply wasn't an option. On top of that, the event was still taking shape: new participants were joining, content kept changing, and the site had to keep up in real time.
The Solution
Framer allowed me to skip the traditional design-to-development pipeline entirely. I designed, built and launched the website myself in just one week. Every change went from idea to live site in minutes, with no developer queue and no deployment process.
Throughout the project, the site evolved continuously:
New influencers were added as they joined the competition
Custom code extended Framer's native features where needed
Dedicated modules were launched for the start of the event
A live leaderboard was updated during the competition
