About Östholm Design
A Swedish design studio had outgrown its old Squarespace site. The founder had designed a new one in Figma (minimal, typography-driven, with subtle motion) and needed it built in Framer without losing an ounce of that intent. The brief was explicit: stand out from templated, AI-slop sameness, stay easy to update, and get the SEO and responsive fundamentals right.
What I did
Built the full site in Framer directly from the Figma design, faithful to the typography, spacing, and restraint the studio cares about.
Set up a CMS so the studio can add and edit case studies themselves without touching the design, implemented subtle, considered motion that supports the layout rather than competing with it, and handled responsive behaviour and SEO structure across every page.
Result
A calm, confident, editorial site the studio owns and can maintain on its own. A clear step up from the old one, and a presentation that finally matches the quality of their work.
