About New Years Fellas
Starry Night was an invite-only New Year's Eve party, hosted by a group of friends known as The NYE Fellas. This single-page website marketed the event, sold tickets through Eventbrite, and kept guests informed from first invitation to final toast.
Designed around the event's theme, custom WebGL and scroll-based animations create an immersive starry setting. The page reads like a printed invitation, moving through event details, tickets, dress code, venue, music, and hosts. Guests received a unique access code by text before buying tickets, limited to two per invitation.
Content was updated as the date approached, from a countdown during ticket sales to final arrival details and, after midnight, closing remarks. Demand pushed attendance just past the planned 100-guest cap, with people coming from across Canada.
